The Hardest Problem With Porcelanosa Is That All Of Their Tiles Are So Gorgeous, It Is Impossible To Choose What To Use.

The most difficult problem with Porcelanosa is that all of their tiles are so beautiful, it is impossible to decide what to use. If you’re like me, you’ll finish up falling madly in love with some stuff and then battle with how to make them all work in your project. Sure they’re more expensive than Home Depot, if that is what you’re comparing them to, but you should not be. Their costs were better than other top-end tiles I looked at, while still being among the most lovely. And ultimately, the staff were extremely helpful (unlike many other home supply stores - cough, DJ Mehler, cough), especially Caroline, who has helped me thru multiple crises and changes of plans. She usually got what I was making an attempt to do, had great ideas, and has just been beyond excellent!

Since I’m living in SF, they have not been the first place I’m going for tiles, but (note to self) they should be. After days / weeks of shopping closer to home, attempting to fix some design dilemma, I will eventually find myself back at Porcelanosa, and it usually resolves itself.

Porcelanosa tiles can be very dear. They are very nice, but you can find online for a miles better cost. There are some great websites online. Here is a link that could be handy www.CheaperFloors.com

What a great store. Fantastically designed, really modern and with EU feel to it. And the tiles they sell are not even expensive but terribly reasonably priced and cheap. Great client service and they even have a couch with television and children movies so your children are happy while you shop. Also a pleasant coffee maker. Neat ideas which make for a pleasant shopping experience. The tiles they sell are awfully attractive and of the best quality. I’m only able to suggest this store. Super!

You need modern, amazing, great quality tile and decor for kitchens and baths! This is absolutely my favorite place to buy! They have stuff here that would go in night clubs, designer bogs, company lobbies, and so on. I am definitely blown away and to round it off, George Clooney is their spokesman from Lake Como.
I believe almost all of their stuff is made from Italy. Very good quality and durable ceramic tile, glass tile, wood-looking ceramic tile. Like It!

Porcelanosa is amazing! The showroom is HUGE and completely beautiful. They have about fifty vignettes with precise product so that you can truly see what everything looks like in effect. I was basically quite shocked at how reasonable their prices are, especially considering that EVERYTHING is brought in from their factory in Spain!

I had some ideas about what I wanted to do with my loo but fell madly in love with one of Porcelanosa’s vignettes so I absolutely copied it! The showroom staff were extraordinarily informed and helpful. The installer was on time, worked swiftly cleaned up after himself, and did a WONDERFUL job! Everyone that uses my bathroom tells me that they adore it! Most importantly- so do I.

Let me get this out of the way first. Porcelanosa has a beautiful showroom, and spectacular tile. Sadly, that tile comes at a cost and with the big showroom / advertising there is also lots of foot traffic that will make getting help troublesome.
I don’t think its a secret any more, but the perfect time to buy is during their semi-annual sales. Normally I’d say that the tile is overpriced despite how pretty it is, but with the sales it becomes manageable cost.
We ended up decking out most of our loos with Porcelanosa tile after one of the current sales, and the loos are striking.
For the most part the staff is helpful and well informed, just bear in mind its tough to help 10+ folks when your staff is only 5.

Lovely tiles. Nice showroom. Useful and genial staff, and reasonably knowledgeable. Contractor’s discount is 12.5%. You should buy tiles in boxes, so there may be more waste than usual. Plan conscientiously! Plenty of styles and sizes. A bit expensive. It’s possible to get free samplers of tiles if you ask. Check out the sales rack in the back left. Note that just because their name is “Porcelanosa” not all of their tiles are porcelain, some are ceramic. Ensure you ask. A lot of the tiles are in stock and widely available or can be ordered quick and shipping isn’t too terrible.

Update : Just needed to add that our purchase went thru really smoothly, no issues at all . My contractor also said that the tiles are very top quality , and were tougher to cut than ordinary thanks to the density and strength. “These will last forever” he revealed. Sounds great to me!

I have been in and out of this show room for a minimum of a dozen times during the past nine months of my home remodel project. The showroom and product display are beautiful. The place shows off attractive kitchen, bath, shower, conceit, floor and wall. The store stands proud of the remainder of the pack for its modern / contemporary and sleek style. Displays are modified reasonably often. I will find something new to have a look at for as often as I go. I gave them 4 stars for this. Purchaser service could be a hit or miss. I got great services from some of the staff there - they greeted me when I walked in, asked me whether I needed help and gladly pulled out samples for me. Occasionally, I got the “I-don’t-think-you-are-worth-my-attention” approach. One time, I requested a product catalog and was coldly rebuffed by a store employee when he informed me that I want to pay for it. I believed that was strange. Next time when I went with a designer, some other person in the store presented a gorgeous encyclopedia-size product book to me without me asking. Price is on the medium-high range - as everything modern / contemporary is probably going to be in the field of home construction or rework. But it’s not grotesque and some of the on-sale tiles could be a bargain.

To sum it up, a must-go place if you want a modern kitchen / bath, inspirational style, mediocre client service and shop around for price as reported tagza.com.
