You Can Have More Fun Gardening By Cheap Garden Tools

As far back as I can remember I’ve loved gardening. When I was young it would be impossible to get me out of the garden, where I spent most of my days with my grandmother. Every summer I would spend all my days on my grandparents farm. My grandfather game me a proposal, work in the garden or study American history. It was simple in my mind because I loved being outside in the garden and didn’t like school at all.

That’s how I came to be where I am, taking whatever time I can to be with my plants, but now it’s at my own house instead of the farm. This year I though I would plant a mix of vegetables. I stared with corn, then cauliflower, and finally cucumber. It was simple to do. I had to water them almost every day since this summer was so dry. I also had to get my husband to cut down a tree that was cutting off the sunshine. Really it was a lot of work for a small amount of veggies.

Getting rid of weeds it the most boring part of gardening. This year I didn’t have as many problems because I chose to go out and cheap garden shovels. Having to move around on my knees all summer was not fun at all. Next year now that I think of it I might hire someone to come in every once in while and do it for me. All I need to do now is get my husband to pay for it.

Gardening tools make a big difference so I don’t know why people aren’t keener to cheap garden tools. If I had it my way the house would be filled with every little tool that anyone has ever thought up. I love gardening and having the right tools makes it so much more enjoyable. If next summer you are thinking to take a roll in the dirt, go at it with the right tools!

These are my favorite vegetables:

  • Potatoes
  • Tomato
  • Carrots
