Methods for Keeping Animals out of Your Garden
Many people like to keep gardens that provided them with a supply of fresh food like tomatoes, potatoes, and squash, as well as some herbs and seasonings. But a lot of people have pests that eat their food and even sometimes eating their flowers, but putting up Tampa vinyl fencing or Tampa fencing isn’t always the best way to keep out most animals.
Many animals are not bothered by fences, but fortunately there are a lot of options for keeping animals away from your plants and keeping your food safe until it ripens enough for you to pick and then enjoy with your family.
In order to be effective netting must go entirely around the garden that you are covering and must be very well secured to the ground, and this strategy can be very good for protecting something in your garden like blueberry bushes, which very frequently fall victim to birds because the netting will cover the top so they can’t get in over fencing. It is very important to weigh down the bottom of the netting all the way around so that animals like rabbits do not dig under itor lift it up.
Another way to protect from birds eating your gardens is to trick them into thinking there are predators around, and this can be done by putting up a scarecrow, or another way to try to keep them away is to put some plastic snakes or owls around so that they think a predator is nearby and will not come around, but you will want to be sure that you move them around a lot so that they do not get used to them and just ignore them when you want them to be afraid of them.
Deer are one of the hardest animals to protect your plants against but you can protect against them by hanging bars of soap near the plants, as the small sometimes deters them from eating or going near those plants, and another thing you can do is to make sure if you do see them near your garden that you go out and shout at them to scare them away, and another idea is to put a piece of unwashed clothing that smells like a human around so that they think someone is there and will not come around your garden.
